Award of Merit 8/22/08

Colby started his show career off with a "bang" with back-to-back 'Best in Sweeps' at the I.S.C.S. summer specialties winning a 5 point major the next day. He won his 2nd 5 pt.major in January at the M.I.S.A specialty. Later that year, he came out to play again and won the breed from the classes over top winning specials.  Colby and I took a year off, so I could recover from leukemia.  Ok, I took the year off and Colby went to play with the birds.  In 3 weekends of hunt tests, he got 2 passes towards his junior hunter title.  In November he finished his American championship, and finished his Junior Hunter title in Spring, 2008.  Thanks to his good buddy, Dean Kinney!!!  In Marcy, 2008 we took a trip North of the Border looking for a Canadian Championship and came home with one in only 3 shows!!  Including winning 2 Bred By Groups and a Best Bred By Exhibitor in Show and another group placement thrown in......October, 2008 figured we would put an Int'l Championship on him, and one weekend of 4 shows, he did !!!  I went along for the ride but was happy to win 2 more Best Bred By Exhibitor in Shows, PLUS back to back Best in Shows!!!  What now???????
